Haze Machine Hire

A Haze Machine Hire is similar to a smoke machine but produces much lighter more subtle fog for use with lighting effects. They also can produce a haze that will last for hours rather than minutes and they are far less likely to trigger any fire detection systems in the venue (although this is not guaranteed).

We are pleased to offer for hire this fantastic high-quality DMX controlled hazer by Chauvet Hurricane called the Hurricane Haze 2 which creates a constant light water-based haze that works extremely well with any lighting effects. It has a great feature set including adjustable blower output speeds and directions, low fluid indicator that automatically shuts down when empty and control is via DMX or wired remote.

Setting the Mood: Haze Machine Hire Guide

Haze machines are not to be confused with the theatrical-style fog machines that we also hire as they generally operate using a fan to disperse the vaporised fluid and this allows for a far longer hang time than conventional smoke machines as the fine mist does not have to clear out of the room before the effect can continue, especially useful for larger venues or events where a long duration of time needs to be achieved.

Most modern hazers operate using a water based haze fluid which is a lot less messy to handle than the oil based variants that were historically used. This is because they do not need to heat the fluid and therefore there is no residue that can be left in a venue. However, even with the water based fluids there is still a risk that these may still cause a small percentage of venues to activate their fire alarm sensors which includes specialist hydro-carbon sensing units.
